24 HOURS IN STRASBOURG

It started with a brownie and a glass of prosecco. Haha not really. Two days before I got a call from my absolute best friend that she got a free ticket for a concert in Strasbourg. My normal reaction was I’m not sure if I can come. My crazy young me: don’t act stupid. Go you b*tch and have fun you need it.

On Friday our 24 houres trip started. we left with the train from Zurich HB to Basel and in Basel we change the train and took the french train to Strasbourg. And how we are we took the train ride as a High picnic, like typical Swiss. 😉

But instead of boring sandwiches, we had for our girl trip. Pink fancy sparkling wine and sushi. After a long covid break, we were probably a bit over excited. and so we ended up being the crazy people on the train. Who are loud having fun and having a fancy picnic party on the train. And what Swiss people absolutely hate is loud people on the train. So we were everyone’s sweetheart on this train ride.

We arrived at around 10 pm in Strasbourg. Our hotel was directly next to the modern art museum and just a view step away from petite France. After a long and needed cold shower, we had the party /concert of the year.

or mabey it felt like the coolest because of my five cubalibre intus.

It was the night and this spontaneous trip that I will never forget in my internal life. The music, the people, and the small city were just like a long-awaited dream.

After three “long” hours of sleep, I was already strolling around the city of Strasbourg. And I found an amazing veggie and vegan bakery with fresh made pain au chocolate and what I didnt expacted could they had homemade empanadas. Yes empanadas – veggies. I was in heaven. My Colombian, Venezualan hurt made a huge jump. And everything tasted amazing.

But the most beautiful part of Strasbourg is of course petite France. The small islands and the canals give you a total vacation flash and shower you with the most pretty part of France.

But because of who I am. I got totally lost. I was just searching for my hotel. my offline Google maps showed me the absolute wrong directions. Instead of seven minutes, I needed 20min. Yeeeahh me and electronics, I’m absolute “talented”.

With my leather bag in my left hand and on the other hand a bag full of pain au chocolate, I made my way back home alone. My friend left me for a month of Paris fun. I was furries haha no I was happy going back home. I used the train ride to write this blog this past me I was writing this post.

My Fazit. Everyone should visited once or more Strasbourg.

I wouldn’t go on high season. May is the perfect time to go. There are not too many tourists and it’s not too hot that you are melting away.

I would recommend staying two days to have enough time to eat and drink and walk the streets of the old town.

Have fun strolling around in strasbourg. if you liked the post leave a like and follow for my future travel and fashion adventures. And don’t forget every like and follow helps me grow this channel.

how did you like the short clips on the blog should i do it more in future or should i stick only with pictures?!?
