“I started painting again!” and they got sold!!
And no I didn’t do an open gallery or anything like that. even paintings that I painted a few years ago started selling. off course I’m still not making a living from it but. it is super cool. that people see my paintings and want them and that they buy them.
I concentrated on portraits of animals. I somehow was super inspired to paint with caracol and graphite. Almost every day I make sketches from just anything that comes up to my mind and now the creativity is coming back.
Seeing that something could work makes me feel easier and not anymore panicking. next to my vintage selling and planning to do some pop-up stores and build an online shop. the paintings are helping me to lose up and let get my wired thoughts out of there and bring my ideas to paper.
What I will do is not stop painting on the side and doing my shop and have my part-time job in the office.
