In the depths of the Swiss Forest, there lives a girl with big black-brown eyes. The girl loves the snow, the fragrant fir trees, and the vastness of the mountains … The girl with the big dark eyes goes by the name of the Snow Bunny.

Snow Bunny felt a warm, radiant light deep in her heart. She knew that the snow would come soon.
She waited impatiently dressed in her pink-purple striped pajamas and warm-fuzzy rabbit-eared hat.
Snow Bunny carefully opened her bedroom window and whispered very softly out into the dark expanse:
«Snowflake, I know you want to come, please don’t wait any longer.
I am very pleased and you are warmly welcome. “
The light in the heart grew brighter and warmer, so she quickly put on her winter shoes and jacket.
She ran out of the house as quietly as possible. Then she looked up and found a single snowflake.
Snow Bunny looked at the snowflake, and it was strange. It shined, but only slightly. So she put both hands up as high as possible and said, “Snowflake, I’ll catch you very carefully.” The snowflake gently fell into her cold, small hands.
In a happy and excited voice, Snow Bunny said: “My first snowflake!”.
Fascinated, Snow Bunny looked at the snowflake in her hands and said: “Hello dear Snowflake, I hope you had a nice trip?”
The snowflake began to glow more strongly and to speak to her very softly.
She held the snowflake very close to her ear so that she could understand it better.
“Hello, dear Snow Bunny, I am delighted to meet you.” said the glowing snowflake.
Snow Bunny’s eyes widened and with a slightly trembling voice, she asked the snowflake: “How do you know my name?”
Snowflake replied softly: “I was up in heaven for a long time and watched you. I had to wait a long time before you welcomed me. “
Snow Bunny asked: “Why did you have to wait until I bid you welcome?”
The snowflake answered in its high, soft, beautiful voice:
“Every child has a snowflake, high up in the sky, waiting. But not every child gets their snowflake. Only those who welcome their snowflake will receive it. “
“Oooh, then, thank you, I think ?!?” said Snow Bunny with a confused expression. She asked herself if she was dreaming and forgot to pay attention for a moment.
The snowflake in her hand shone brighter again. So Snow Bunny quickly held it to her ear.
«Snow bunny, I give you the strength that I have saved for you». Then Snow Bunny’s cheek started to tickle: “That tickles!” she squealed with laughter.
«You will be able to transform yourself into your soul animal. From now on you will live as a person but also as a mountain hare. “
Snow Bunny didn’t know what to say. So the snowflake spoke again:
“Put me on your hat.” When the mountain hare carefully placed the snowflake on her hat. She started to glow brightly. The hat with the rabbit ears was caught in the light and her heart became warm.
As soon as it was suddenly light, it became dark again and the snowflake was gone.
Snow Bunny stood rooted to the ground in the snow. She closed her eyes for a few seconds and thought. “It was just a dream and she was in her warm bed sleeping.” But when she opened her eyes she was still outside.
With low, frightened steps she walked to the front door and looked around once last time before going inside. Snow Bunny said in a low voice: “Wherever you are, Snowflake, I hope you are fine.”
Then the rabbit-ear cap began to shine on her head. She looked up and saw that the cap was bent down towards her face and button-sized black eyes were looking at her with a penetrating look. Snow Bunny looked up and saw the eyes of the hat winking at her.
Snow Bunny ran into the house with all her things in fright and put the cap on her bedside table with trembling hands. Snow bunny slipped under her blanket and closed her eyes tightly…..
